Article Publication Charges
There is no fee for manuscript submission. However, as an open-access publication, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted manuscripts to cover the costs of publication. These costs include peer review management, professional editing, typesetting, digital archiving, and maintaining the journal’s online platform, etc.
APC Structure
The standard APC is USD100 (effective after September 15, 2025).
The APC is payable only upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication.
Waiver and Discount Policy
To support global research inclusivity, the journal provides full or partial APC waivers for authors affiliated with institutions in low- and middle-income countries, as defined by recognized international lists. Authors must request a waiver during the submission process for it to be considered.
Our waiver policy follows a two-tier approach:
Countries in Research4Life’s “Group A” (listed below) could receive a full (up to 100%) waiver of article processing charges
Countries in Research4Life’s “Group B” (listed below) could receive a partial (up to 50%) waiver of article processing charges
Withdrawal Policy
Authors may withdraw their manuscript without penalty before the initial editorial review.
Once a manuscript has entered the peer-review process, withdrawal is strongly discouraged due to the significant resources invested by editors and reviewers.
If an author withdraws a manuscript during peer review or after provisional acceptance, a withdrawal fee equivalent to the APC may be applied.
This policy ensures fairness to both authors and reviewers while maintaining the sustainability of the open-access model.
